Lars Patrick Berg (DE) and Giuseppe Milazzo (IT) have joined the ECR Group. Berg has been sitting as a non-attached member since leaving his national party Alternative for Germany (AfD), and the ID Group, last month. Milazzo has moved directly from the EPP Group, having left Forza Italia to join Brothers of Italy.
Luisa Regimenti (IT) has left the ID Group as a result of leaving her national party Lega. She will sit as a non-attached member.
Committees and Delegations
Having left their respective political groups Giuseppe Milazzo (ECR, IT) and Luisa Regimenti (NA, IT) have also given up a number of their committee and delegation positions. Notably, Milazzo is no longer a member of the Transport and Tourism Committee (TRAN) and Regimenti has left the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee (ENVI) as well as the Beating Cancer Special Committee (BECA)
Legal Affairs Committee
Alessandra Basso (ID, IT) is now a substitute whilst Sabrina Pignedoli (NA, IT) is no longer a substitute.
Vlad Gheorghe (RE, RO) is now a member having previously been a substitute.
Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Directorate-General (DG GROW)
Franz Lamplmair no longer an Adviser on Alternative Approaches to Animal Testing in Directorate F - Ecosystems I: Chemicals, Food, Retail. Giuseppe Casella is the new Head of Unit F1 (REACH) in the same Directorate.
Sophie Mueller is now Acting Head of Unit H3 (Standards Policy) in Directorate H - Ecosystems III: Construction and Machinery. She had previously been the Deputy Director of the Unit.
Mobility and Transport Directorate-General (DG MOVE)
Mona Bjorklund replaced Maja Bakran-Marcich as Director of Directorate A - Policy Coordination. Bakran-Marcich had been in the role on an acting basis.
Internal Audit Service (IAS)
Adrian Mircea replaced Paul Desfosses as Head of Unit, Research and Innovation in Directorate C - Research and Innovation, Economic Policies, Statistics, Neighbourhood and the World. Desfosses had been in the role on an acting basis.
European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF)
Claire Scharf-Kroener has been appointed as Head of the new Unit C4 (Monitoring and Reporting) in the Anti-Fraud Knowledge Centre Directorate. She had previously been head of the now abolished Task Force Monitoring Unit that reported directly to the Director-General.
Nadine Kolloczek has been appointed as Acting Head of the new Unit 03 (Operational Coordination and Liaison Office).
Charles Feld named as the new Director and Head of its EU Energy and Environment, Dominik Flikweert and Otto Ilveskero have also joined the Energy and Environment team.

The Republicans (EEP) were the main winners in the first round of regional elections that took place in France last weekend. Emmanuel Macron’s En Marche (RE) and Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (ID) had disappointing results in the poll which had a record-low turnout.
