1. What do you do in your free time to relax and unwind?
I spend quality time with my family - my wife and two children. Either we go eat at a restaurant, stay home and watch movies, or I go to the park and play football with my son. I also like to invite friends for dinner, at home or out.

2. Is there anything you have personally achieved or done that would surprise people?
I prefer having others tell me what I have achieved, but in all the political positions I have held, I have tried to promote young and effective people. In Brussels, I have connected people in order to advance issues in a positive way.

3. What is the smallest change you made in your career that has had the biggest positive result?
Being elected as a member of the European Parliament was a small step towards greater goals, especially in the context of strengthening relations with Israel and to push for an agenda than is good for the EU and for Italy.

4. What one item would you save from your house or apartment if it was on fire?
I would definitely take my iPad, it's where I save all the important work that I have done.

5. What was the most inspirational and influential book you have read and why?
The book that has inspired me the most is Aristotle's Politics. I read the book while I was still in high school. Ever since then, the book has accompanied me along my political career and personal life. The thing that influenced me the most was seeing everything can be traced back to politics. In addition, Aristotle also discussed the relation between human nature and politics.
