2019 EU - Finnish Presidency Guide

July 1st saw the start of the new Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU. 

This comes after the 2019 EU Elections in Brussels, where a new Parliament takes position and gathers to choose the next generation of leaders. The Finnish Presidency will thus have a role in guiding the EU over the coming months as new MEPs take their positions and ensure that work continues in an increasingly complex world of politics.
