Implementing the EU Energy Efficiency Directive

The Coalition for Energy Savings undertakes regular assessments to keep track of the progress of implementation of the energy efficiency directive at member state level. The aim is to support the national and EU-wide energy efficiency community, as well as the European commission in its role of enforcer of the requirements of the energy efficiency directive. This report is an update of our analysis of implementation of Article 76 of the directive from April 2014. It investigates whether member states have made any effort to strengthen their Article 7 plans and consequently the implementation of the energy efficiency directive.
