This policy debate aims to shed light on the growing trend of Alternative Nicotine Products (ANPs) and clarify the major motivators for ex-smokers to switch to ANPs.
If prompt action is taken, Europe can keep up with Sweden. The path to improve public health outcomes for the EU decision makers is to stimulate research and innovation for safer nicotine products and take a more proactive role in encouraging smokers to quit.
