Accelerate 5G to power Europe's competitiveness and twin transition

In an increasingly challenging global context, European leadership in the digital sector can support Europe’s global competitiveness. The ambition to stay ahead is well grounded but will remain aspirational unless Europe urgently builds out and develops digital infrastructure, ecosystems and skills.

Whilst there are bold Digital Decade goals, the connectivity targets are already at risk. Join us in the heart of Europe, together with an impressive line-up of speakers, to discuss how best Europe can seize the digitization opportunity and secure long-term competitiveness at a seminar on May 16, 1:30 to 4:00 PM at Le Louise Hotel Brussels – Mgallery, 40 avenue de la Toison d’Or, 1050 Brussels.

This event will take place in the presence of Börje Ekholm, Ericsson CEO, Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania, Peter Terwiesch, President for Process Automation and Member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB Ltd and Allison Kirkby, President and CEO of Telia Company. They will be joined by Håkan Jevrell, the State Secretary to Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, and key representatives from the European Commission.

This is a unique opportunity to develop new insights, debate, network and experience some immersive 5G demonstrations, followed by an informal cocktail reception. Ericsson’s media partner for this event is the Parliament Magazine and the event will be moderated by Katrina Sichel, a journalist specializing in European Affairs.
