ECR deputy Assita Kanko is our latest cover star. In the midst of the Coronavirus crisis she shares her thoughts on Europe’s response to the pandemic and how the European Union can emerge from this critical period a stronger, wiser and more unified force.

In our main feature on the impact of COVID-19 on the transport sector, we hear from European Commissioner for Transport Adina-Ioana Vălean, chair of Parliament’s Sky and Space Intergroup Marian-Jean Marinescu (RO, EPP), and two vice-chairs of Parliament’s Transport and Tourism committee István Ujhelyi (HU, S&D) and Jan-Christoph Oetjen (DE, RE).

The thorny question of Brexit rears its head once again, as David McAllister (DE, EPP), Chair of both the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee and the UK Coordination Group, examines the prospect of a Brexit transition period extension.
