We're hiring!

We're on the hunt for two journalists to join our tiny editorial team. Both positions will be key players in reshaping the magazine ahead of a relaunch at the end of 2022. These are amazing opportunities, and we're lots of fun to work with, we promise.

We're particularly excited to to hear from candidates who have a track record of spotting and reporting important, surprising stories lurking amidst the thick of Brussels bureaucracy, or from people who can show us that they're up for the challenge.

Candidates should have a fierce commitment to truth and accuracy.

1. The entry-level journalist and social media manager will take ownership of our newsletter, contribute to editorial meetings, pitch and report original stories and keep us looking cool on social media. And more. This job comes with plenty of room to find your own groove and make a real impact on the future of the magazine.

2. The mid/senior-level journalist will tackle each month's feature interview (check out our past editions to see the kinds of folks you'll get to talk to), take part in editorial meetings, pitch and report original stories and commission opinion content and more.

How to pitch Parli Mag:

The Parliament Magazine welcomes pitches from freelance journalists. We are especially glad to receive feature pitches that highlight aspects of EU-relevant news or EU policy and practice through story or character.

We are also open to creative front of book content, book reviews, author interviews and more.
