Life Cycle Assessment: the future for improved sustainability in Europe?

The Parliament Magazine, in association with PlasticsEurope, is pleased to invite you to a roundtable debate on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

With the EU looking to move towards a more low-carbon and sustainable economy, the environmental footprint of products and organisations has become increasingly important to policymakers, businesses and consumers.

LCA is considered as being at the heart of EU action on green public procurement, better environmental footprints for products and the environmental footprint of organisations.

During the event we will look at the role LCA can play in helping the EU improve the sustainability of products and reduce their environmental impacts. How LCA can add value to product environmental assessment. What more needs to be done to improve the methodology of LCA? Can the EU improve the environmental footprint of organisation? How can LCA help greening public procurement?
